You might not think you need an onion marmalade in your life but I am here to tell you – you’re wrong. This pairs with any sandwich, steak, pork, your opportunities are endless. Just try it. You won’t regret it!!

Ingredients:
- 7 yellow onions, thinly sliced
- 5 Tbsp butter
- 1 1/4 cup cabernet sauvignon
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 7 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp coconut aminos or soy sauce
- 1 tsp salt
Directions:
- Cook down onions in butter on medium heat until caramelized (golden brown), about 25-35 minutes, stir on a consistent basis
- Stir in wine, sugar, balsamic vinegar, amino acid, and salt and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stir constantly
- Remove from heat and continue stirring for 5-8 minutes
- Move to refrigerator until completely cooled
- Pair with an sandwich or top your steak once cold!
