Sweet and Spicy Salmon

Ever wanted a decadent dinner but didn’t want to spend a lot of time making it? Well, THIS is the dinner. In less than 30 minutes, this salmon is ready to devour! Serve with a side salad or roasted broccoli and you’re good to go!

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces of salmon
  • a pinch of salt
  • a pinch of pepper
  • a pinch of paprika
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp coconut aminos
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp hot sauce
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tsp red pepper flakes

Directions:

  • Pat salmon with paper towel
  • Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic
  • Melt butter in skillet on medium heat
  • Whisk together remaining ingredients in small bowl
  • Place salmon in skillet, skin side down and cook for 3 minutes
  • Pour the sauce over the salmon. Continuously baste the salmon with the sauce and cook for 8-12 minutes over medium heat
  • OPTIONAL: preheat oven to 350* and bake for 5 minutes
